Duhirwe’s artwork is informed by her diverse experiences, and her current work is largely in response to what she calls the abstract mind travel that comes from experiencing great suffering or just trying to make day-to-day decisions. Her art work, ranging from linocuts, woodcuts, relief wood carving mixed media, as well as installation/ performance work, has been shown and included in private and public collections throughout the U.S., Africa, and Europe.
